Questions about this item

How do I install this 300W power supply into a 400 or 480G1 G2 desktop chassis, and what alignment step is often missed?

Slide the DPS-300AB-73A unit into the chassis bay until the rear connector seats firmly; the step often missed is ensuring the latch clicks fully into the PS-6301-4 mounting slot before securing the thumbscrew.

What maintenance or replacement will this NShi 300W supply need over its service life?

The internal fan on the DPS-300AB-72A should be cleaned of dust annually; if bearing noise appears, replace the entire PSU with another PCD009-compatible 300W unit such as PS-5301-02 or PC7036.
