Compatible 300W Chassis for 610 Series

This desktop server chassis is built to house the FSP300-70PFU power supply. It targets administrators who need a direct replacement for 610L, 610H or 610G systems. The 300 watt output supports standard ATX loads with the legacy minus five volt rail.

ATX Form Factor and Legacy Rail Constraints

The ATX layout limits upgrades to components that fit the original mounting points and connector spacing. The minus five volt rail is retained only for older ISA or early PCI cards that still require it. Modern hardware without that rail dependency will not benefit from its presence.

Questions about this item

Which of the 610L, 610H or 610G variants fits my existing FSP300-70PFU supply?

All three model numbers are listed as compatible with the same FSP300-70PFU unit, so any of the 610L, 610H or 610G versions will work.

What does the 300W rating mean once the chassis is installed in a server?

The 300W figure is the maximum continuous power the integrated FSP300-70PFU supply can deliver to the system components under load.
