40× magnification for detailed inspection

This NShi loupe provides 40× magnification through a 25 mm lens, letting jewelers, collectors and hobbyists examine gemstones, coins, stamps and small mechanical parts at close range. The foldable design protects the acrylic lens when not in use and the unit weighs 58 g, so it slips easily into a pocket or tool pouch.

Sustained use with built-in illumination

Three LR927 button cells are included and pre-installed, powering two white LEDs and one UV LED for continuous viewing in low light or for currency authentication. The aluminium-alloy and ABS body resists wear during repeated daily sessions, and the supplied plastic case shields the optics between jobs.

Cool, quiet and low-power operation

With no moving parts the loupe generates no audible noise and negligible heat during extended use. Power draw is limited to the three button cells, so there is no need for external power supplies or recharging cables in normal operation.

Questions about this item

Does the 40X loupe generate any heat or noise when the three LED and UV lights are left on for hours?

The lights draw only a few milliamps from the three LR927 cells, so the aluminium-alloy body stays cool to the touch and the unit runs silently.

What must I already have to start using the loupe the moment it arrives?

Nothing extra — the three LR927 button cells are pre-installed and the folding case is included, so it works straight from the box.

Can I still use the 25 mm lens if I already wear reading glasses or a head-mounted visor?

Yes, the 40X magnification works independently; you simply hold the loupe at its short focal distance while keeping your own eyewear on.
