What this adapter does

The NShi Bluetooth 5.1 car FM transmitter plugs into a 12-24V cigarette socket to add wireless audio streaming and hands-free calling to any vehicle stereo. It also works as a dual-port fast charger with a 30W PD Type-C output and a 2.4A QC 3.0 USB-A port. Drivers who want a single device for music, calls and charging will find it fits the role.

The spec that decides fit

Bluetooth 5.1 is the wireless standard used for phone pairing and audio streaming to the FM frequency. If the vehicle stereo lacks an unused FM channel or the phone does not support Bluetooth 5.1, the core wireless link will not work as intended. The transmitter also reads MP3 and WMA files from TF cards or USB flash drives up to 64GB.

Install notes and common issues

Insert the unit into the 12-24V socket, tune the car radio to the same FM frequency shown on the display, then pair the phone via Bluetooth 5.1. The seven-colour LED backlight helps locate controls in the dark. Interference on crowded FM bands is the most frequent cause of poor audio quality.
