NShi DPS-500NB A 1U 500W Server Chassis

The NShi DPS-500NB A is a 1U server chassis designed to house a 500W power supply unit. It uses a desktop form factor suitable for rackmount environments where space is limited. This unit targets system integrators building or maintaining compatible server platforms.

Suited for 1U rack builds needing a 500W power

This chassis suits builders replacing a DPS-500NB A unit in existing 1U deployments. It is not for buyers needing a different wattage, form factor or proprietary pinout not matching this specific model. Those requiring redundant power or larger drive bays should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

What server chassis form factor is required to mount this 1U 500W power supply?

The unit is built for a 1U rack-mount server chassis, so the host system must provide a standard 1U power-supply bay with matching screw holes and airflow direction.

Will this supply fit in an older desktop tower that uses a standard ATX power supply?

No — the 1U form factor is shorter and narrower than an ATX unit, and its mounting tabs and connector layout are designed for rack-mount servers, not desktop towers.
