Mini ITX aluminium chassis

This all-aluminium desktop chassis measures 197 by 197 by 65 millimetres and fits a 170 by 170 millimetre ITX motherboard. The body panels are 3.5 millimetres thick and the cover is 2.5 millimetres thick, creating a rigid frame that doubles as a heatsink. A frosted surface finish adds scratch resistance and a clean appearance. It weighs approximately 925 grams.

Sustained thermal behaviour

The integrated aluminium frame spreads heat from the motherboard and a single 3.5-inch drive or two 2.5-inch drives across the entire enclosure. A 3.5-inch drive is supported when its heat spreader sits 20 millimetres or less above the board, while 2.5-inch drives need a cooler height of 36 millimetres or less. No active cooling is included, so airflow depends on component choice and ambient conditions.

Installation notes

The case ships with a screw kit and two wireless antenna cut-outs on the side panel. Front USB ports are configurable as two USB 2.0 or two USB 3.0 connectors, but the header cables are not pre-routed. Builders must verify cooler clearance against the 20 or 36 millimetre limits before purchasing a CPU cooler, and the compact interior leaves little room for cable routing behind the motherboard tray.
