Compatible ATX chassis for 600 W unit

This desktop server chassis is designed to house the SilverStone SST-ST60F-ES non-modular power supply. It suits builders assembling a 600 W ATX system for home or office use. The enclosure accepts standard ATX components and provides a foundation for quiet operation. Buyers needing redundant supplies or larger form-factor units should consider alternative enclosures.

Thermals noise and power draw

The installed 600 W power supply carries 80plus certification, indicating efficient energy conversion under typical loads. Non-modular cabling simplifies the internal layout while the mute-oriented design targets low acoustic output. Normal use sees stable thermal behaviour within the desktop chassis volume. No further thermal or acoustic specifications are provided.

Questions about this item

How do I install the SST-ST60F-ES 600W PSU into this desktop chassis, and what step is often missed?

Mount the ATX non-modular unit with four screws, then connect the fixed cables to motherboard, CPU and drives; the step often missed is routing the 24-pin and 8-pin leads behind the motherboard tray before securing the PSU.

What maintenance or replacement will the SST-ST60F-ES 600W PSU need later?

The 80plus-rated supply uses a mute fan; clean dust from its intake every 60 days and replace the unit if voltages drift or fan noise appears after years of continuous 600W load.
