Single-Rail 12 V Supply

This Mean Well SP-320-12 is a 300 W enclosed AC-DC power supply that delivers 12 V at 25 A from a universal 135-264 VAC input. It fits a desktop chassis with panel-mount dimensions of 8.46 L x 4.52 W x 1.96 D in and includes a built-in DC fan for forced-air cooling. Active PFC and a 100 % full-load burn-in test are standard.

Suited for 12 V Server Loads

Builders powering single-voltage server backplanes or industrial 12 V equipment will find the 300 W output a direct match. The supply is not suited for systems that require additional rails such as 5 V or 12 V auxiliary outputs from the same unit.

300 W at 12 V

The decisive specification is the 300 W continuous rating at 12 VDC with 25 A available current. If the target load exceeds this power or current figure, a higher-capacity supply must be chosen.

Questions about this item

Will the 300 W output handle my existing 12 V drives and fans?

Yes, the single 12 V rail delivers up to 25 A, so any 12 V components drawing within that total will run normally.

How can I confirm the unit is operating correctly once installed?

The built-in DC fan spins immediately on power-up and the active PFC circuit maintains stable 12 V output under load.

What ships in the box and what must I source separately?

Only the enclosed power supply itself is included; mounting screws, AC cable and any DC wiring are not supplied.
