10-Ton Condensate Pad

The Nu-Calgon 61045 pad treats condensate pans in commercial systems rated from 5 to 15 tons. It prevents slime buildup that can block drainage and cause overflow. The green strip lasts up to six months before replacement is needed. Suitable for HVAC technicians maintaining larger air-conditioning units.

Simple Drop-In Install

Place the pad directly into the pan where water collects; no tools or wiring are required. Ensure the pan is clean so the strip contacts water evenly. The treatment is non-corrosive and non-toxic, but avoid skin contact and wash hands after handling. Do not use in systems outside the 5-to-15-ton range.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the 61045 pad is controlling slime after installation?

Check the condensate pan after a few weeks; the green pad should still be visible and the drain line should flow freely without slime buildup.

Does the 10-ton pad come with any mounting hardware or do I need to buy clips separately?

The package contains only the green treatment pad; no clips, brackets or fasteners are included, so supply your own if the pan requires them.
