NuoTo Orange Pi Zero 512MB DDR3 barebone mini PC

SKU CH-9K2N-H4NYK

Tiny barebone board with quad-core Cortex-A7, 512 MB DDR3, 10/100 Ethernet and GPIO headers for embedded Linux projects

  • Quad-core Cortex-A7 drives efficient 4K HEVC decode
  • Mali400MP2 GPU at 600 MHz handles OpenGL ES 2.0 graphics
  • 512 MB DDR3 memory runs Android Ubuntu Debian Armbian
  • 10/100 Ethernet plus USB 2.0 host and OTG ports
  • 48 × 46 mm board weighs 26 g with 26-pin GPIO header

Compact barebone for embedded projects

The NuoTo Orange Pi Zero is a 48 mm by 46 mm single-board computer built around an AllWinner H3 quad-core Cortex-A7 processor. It ships with 512 MB of DDR3 memory and a Mali400MP2 GPU running at 600 MHz. The board targets developers and hobbyists who need a low-cost Linux or Android platform for headless or display-driven appliances.

10/100 Ethernet and single USB host limit throughput

Network connectivity is restricted to a 10/100 Mbit RJ45 port, so sustained transfers will saturate well below gigabit speeds. Only one USB 2.0 host port is available for peripherals; the second USB 2.0 interface is an OTG port that can also supply power to the board. Storage relies on a micro-SD card up to 64 GB or the 2 MB SPI flash, ruling out high-speed solid-state drives.

Replaces older Pi Zero boards when GPIO count

This board adds a 26-pin header and a 13-pin header with extra USB, IR, audio and UART lines, giving more expansion options than the original Pi Zero. The jump is worthwhile when a project needs the additional pins or the H.265/HEVC 4K decode capability of the H3 SoC. It is not suited for builders who want more storage bandwidth, gigabit networking or multiple USB hosts without an external hub.
