Galaxy A16 5G privacy screen protector 2-pack

This two-pack of tempered-glass protectors is cut for the Samsung Galaxy A16 5G and adds one-way visual privacy. The filter keeps the display readable straight-on while turning the screen black to anyone viewing from twenty-eight degrees or more off-centre. It suits commuters, office workers or anyone who handles sensitive data in shared spaces. Two pieces give a spare for re-application or a second device.

Thermals noise and power draw

As a passive glass layer the protector generates no heat, draws no power and adds no audible noise. The 9H hardness rating resists everyday scratches from keys or coins without affecting touch sensitivity. Clarity is rated at ninety-nine point nine percent so colours and text remain sharp. Installation uses a guide frame designed to eliminate bubbles and misalignment in about one minute.

Upgrade path and when it matters

The pack replaces a single standard film or a worn glass protector that lacks privacy filtering. The jump is worth it when you regularly view confidential messages, banking apps or work documents in public and want a physical barrier instead of software dimming. It is not for users who need an anti-glare matte finish, a full-cover curved-edge design or a privacy angle narrower than twenty-eight degrees.

Questions about this item

How do I align the tempered glass on the Galaxy A16 5G screen without trapping bubbles?

The pack includes an alignment frame; place it on the phone, peel the protector, lower it onto the frame and press the centre — 99.9 % of installs finish bubble-free.

Will the anti-scratch layer wear off and need replacing?

The 9H hardness glass resists daily abrasion; only a deep impact or edge chip would require swapping to the second protector in the pack.

At what viewing angle does the privacy filter turn the screen black to bystanders?

Content stays clear head-on but darkens from 28° off-centre, so anyone beside you on public transport sees a black display.
