LoRa HAT for Raspberry Pi 40-pin GPIO

The NuoTo SX1262 LoRa HAT adds 915MHz long-range wireless to any Raspberry Pi board with a 40-pin header. It targets developers building remote sensor networks, industrial telemetry or smart-home gateways that need kilometre-scale links without cellular contracts. The board draws power directly from the Pi GPIO rail and exposes a UART path through an onboard CP2102 USB-to-UART bridge for host-side debugging.

The HAT stacks on the Raspberry Pi 40-pin GPIO extension header, leaving the remaining pins accessible for other add-ons. An onboard CP2102 converter provides a USB serial console so firmware can be monitored without extra cables. A separate UART control interface breaks out for direct connection to Arduino or STM32 hosts, freeing the Pi’s own serial port for other duties.

81 channels, auto repeating and security features

The module offers 81 selectable channels and supports automatic multi-level repeating to extend range beyond a single hop. Wake-on-Radio and deep-sleep modes reduce draw for battery-powered nodes. A customisable communication key prevents retrieval, while listen-before-talk and RSSI reporting improve reliability in noisy environments.
