Ultra-thin 96% wireless mechanical keyboard

The NuPhy Air96 V2 is a 96% layout mechanical keyboard with an aluminium alloy frame and a 13.5 mm thin profile. It ships with Gateron Aloes linear switches and two-tone PBT keycaps. Bluetooth 5.1, 2.4 GHz wireless and USB-C wired modes cover Windows, macOS, Linux, Android and iOS.

Upgrade from membrane or bulky 100% boards

Users moving from membrane keyboards gain per-key RGB backlighting with 40 lighting modes, N-key rollover and a 1000 Hz wired polling rate. The jump is worth it when you need simultaneous connection to four devices and QMK/VIA programmability without a wrist rest.

Hot-swappable sockets simplify switch changes

The PCB supports hot-swappable switches so you can replace Gateron Aloes units without soldering. A 4000 mAh battery delivers 35 to 120 hours of RGB use or 220 hours with backlight off. Side LED bar indicates remaining charge; angled feet offer 3.5°, 6.5° and 8.5° typing angles.

Questions about this item

Does the 373.4 mm width and 13.5 mm thickness fit a standard 96% keyboard tray?

The keyboard measures 373.4 mm wide by 132.5 mm deep and is 13.5 mm at its thinnest point, so it fits most trays designed for a 96% layout.

How do I switch the keyboard into 2.4 GHz mode so the 1000 Hz polling rate is active?

Connect the 2.4 GHz dongle, then press the mode key until the indicator shows 2.4G; the 1000 Hz polling rate is only enabled in this mode.

When will the 4000 mAh battery need recharging if I keep the RGB backlight on?

Lab tests show 35 to 120 hours of use with the backlight on, and up to 220 hours with it off; the side LED bar displays the remaining charge.
