Product identity and audience

The NUTRI FIT EK8840H-NF-S01 is a compact digital kitchen scale finished in grey. It weighs items up to 11 pounds with 1 gram or 0.1 ounce resolution across five units including grams, millilitres, ounces and pounds. Home cooks, bakers and anyone tracking portions will find the 2.1 inch backlit LCD easy to read in low light.

Bundled items and their effect

Two AAA alkaline batteries are included so the scale works immediately without a separate purchase. The tare function lets you reset the display to zero after placing a container on the 7.32 by 5.71 inch stainless steel platform, allowing successive ingredients to be weighed in the same bowl. Auto shut-off after two minutes of inactivity preserves the supplied batteries.

Deciding specification

Maximum capacity is 11 pounds or 5 kilograms, which determines whether the scale can handle your largest recipes or parcels. Buyers who need to weigh heavier roasts, large batches or bulk ingredients should look for a higher-capacity model.
