Two-Light Vanity Fixture

The NuVo 60-6078 Empire is a 15-inch bathroom vanity light fitted with two alabaster glass bell shades. It mounts on the wall to provide focused illumination above a mirror or sink. The brushed nickel finish suits contemporary and transitional decors. Homeowners and installers seeking a compact decorative fixture will find it appropriate.

Fixed Two-Light Output

This decorative lighting unit supports exactly two lamps, so total brightness is limited to the combined wattage of the installed bulbs. The alabaster glass diffuses light but does not increase the fixture's inherent capacity. Dimming performance depends entirely on the bulb type and a compatible wall dimmer not included with the fixture. The 15-inch width restricts coverage to single-basin vanities.

Pre-Installation Checks

Verify that the junction box can support the fixture weight and that the mounting holes align with a 15-inch centre spread. Confirm the supply voltage matches the lamps you intend to use. Ensure the brushed nickel finish coordinates with existing faucet hardware. Buyers needing three or more lights or a wider spread should consider a different configuration.

Questions about this item

Is the 15 in. vanity the only width available for the Empire 2-Light model?

The product name specifies a 15 in. vanity; no other widths are mentioned for this model.

How does the 15 in. measurement translate when the fixture is mounted on a bathroom wall?

The 15 in. figure describes the overall width of the vanity light, so it will span that distance across the wall when installed.

Does the brushed nickel finish affect the mounting standard or electrical connection used?

The finish is cosmetic; the fixture installs with standard hardwired connections like other decorative wall lighting.
