Single MR16 track head

The NuVo TH321 is a single-head track fixture designed for 120-volt MR16 lamps. Its gimbal ring allows precise directional aiming for accent or task lighting. The white finish suits residential and commercial ceilings. It installs on compatible single-circuit track systems.

Replaces fixed track heads

This gimbal-ring head replaces fixed or limited-swivel track heads where adjustable beam control is needed. The upgrade is worth it when lighting layouts require frequent re-aiming without tools. It suits galleries, retail displays, or homes with changing artwork. Fixed heads cannot match this flexibility.

One lamp capacity

The fixture accommodates one MR16 lamp up to the track system's rated wattage. It handles standard halogen or LED MR16 bulbs within that limit. Headroom runs out when lamp wattage exceeds the track rating or when a second head is needed on the same circuit. Multi-head layouts require additional fixtures.

Questions about this item

What type of track system does the NuVo TH321 gimbal ring head mount to?

The head is a standard track-lighting fixture designed for 120 V line-voltage track; verify your track brand uses the same adapter style before purchase.

How is the MR16 lamp secured inside the gimbal ring, and what step is often missed?

Insert the bi-pin MR16 lamp fully until the pins seat, then snap the retaining ring or clip into the groove; skipping the clip lets the lamp fall out when the head is tilted.

When the MR16 lamp burns out, what replacement do I need?

Replace it with any 120 V MR16 lamp that matches the desired beam spread and wattage; the gimbal ring accepts standard MR16 bi-pin bases.
