8 Qt Air Fryer for Health-Conscious Cooks

The Nuwave Brio Plus 8 Qt air fryer delivers 1800 W of power across a 50-400°F range in precise 5°F increments. Its PFAS-free ceramic basket holds 8 quarts for family meals, while a digital touch screen replaces analog dials for exact temperature control. Safety pauses cooking automatically when the basket is removed.

Upgrade from Smaller or Analog Fryers

This model replaces compact fryers that limit batch size and older units with coarse temperature dials. The jump is worth it when you need larger capacity for whole chickens or multiple servings and want consistent heat without the heater cycling on and off. The redesigned air circulation riser also reduces mishaps common with loose-fit baskets.

Check Counter Space and Power Before Ordering

Verify 12.5 inches of width, 11.94 inches of depth and 12.69 inches of height fit your countertop and cabinet clearance. Confirm a 120 V, 60 Hz outlet can supply 1800 W without tripping breakers shared with other high-draw appliances. Ensure the nonstick ceramic interior suits your preferred cleaning routine.

Questions about this item

How much counter space do the 11.94-inch depth and 12.5-inch width require?

The unit measures 11.94 inches deep by 12.5 inches wide, so allow at least that footprint plus a few inches of clearance on all sides for airflow and safe basket removal.

What is the correct way to seat the 8-quart ceramic basket so cooking does not pause unexpectedly?

Slide the basket fully into the drawer until it clicks; the safety sensor pauses heating when the basket is pulled out and resumes only when it is completely pushed back in.

How should the PFAS-free ceramic coating on the 8-quart basket be cleaned to avoid damage?

Hand-wash the basket and riser with warm soapy water and a non-abrasive sponge; avoid metal utensils and harsh scouring pads to preserve the ceramic non-stick surface.
