Founders Edition 10GB GDDR6

This NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Founders Edition graphics card uses the RTX GPU with 10GB of GDDR6 memory. It connects via a PCI Express 4.0 x16 interface and provides one HDMI port and one DisplayPort. The unit is manufacturer refurbished by NVIDIA and supplied in a plain box with an anti-static bag.

Gamers and creators needing 10GB VRAM

The 10GB frame buffer suits 4K gaming and content creation workloads that fit within that capacity. Buyers who want more storage for larger textures or higher resolutions should look at cards with greater memory. The card includes no accessories, SLI bridges or driver media, so builders needing those items must source them separately.

PCI Express 4.0 x16 interface decides fit

Your motherboard must provide a PCI Express 4.0 x16 slot to install this card. The physical double-slot Founders Edition cooler occupies two expansion brackets and requires adequate case airflow. Verify your power supply has the necessary connectors before purchase.

Questions about this item

How loud and hot does the RTX 3080 Founders Edition run under sustained load?

The Founders Edition cooler uses a dual axial fan design that exhausts heat through the rear bracket and a second flow path; noise and temperature will depend on case airflow.

What power connectors and PSU rating does the 3080 FE require?

The card draws power through a single 12-pin connector; an adapter for two 8-pin cables is included in the retail box.

Will the PCI Express 4.0 x16 interface work on my older PCIe 3.0 motherboard?

Yes, the RTX 3080 is backward compatible and will operate at PCIe 3.0 x16 speeds on older boards.
