Ampere Architecture GPU

The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti Founders Edition delivers 10240 CUDA cores built on the Ampere architecture. Base clock runs at 1.37 GHz with a boost of 1.67 GHz. The card targets enthusiasts who need high frame rates at 4K resolution and professionals using GPU-accelerated creative workflows.

12-Pin Power Adapter Included

A 12-pin PCIe connector powers the 350 W board, and the box supplies an adapter for two standard 8-pin cables. Display outputs comprise HDMI 2.1 and three DisplayPort 1.4a connectors supporting up to 7680x4320 resolution. RGB lighting and a dual-slot cooler complete the Founders Edition package.

12 GB GDDR6X Frame Buffer

The 384-bit memory interface feeds 12 GB of GDDR6X memory, providing bandwidth headroom for 4K gaming with ray tracing and DLSS enabled. Heavy compute workloads such as 3D rendering or AI inference benefit from the large frame buffer. Maximum GPU temperature is rated at 93 °C under sustained load.

Questions about this item

Will the 12-pin power connector need replacement after heavy use?

The included adapter converts two standard 8-pin PCIe cables to the single 12-pin connector, so only the cables might need checking over time.

What thermal ceiling stops the boost clock from climbing higher during long sessions?

The GPU is rated to a maximum temperature of 93 °C; once it reaches that point the clock will throttle back.

How loud and hot does the 350 W Founders Edition cooler get when the card runs all day?

The dual-slot cooler exhausts heat through the rear bracket; at the 350 W board power the fans spin up noticeably but keep the core under the 93 °C limit.
