What this card is and who it serves

The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Founders Edition is a 24GB GDDR6 graphics card built for PCI Express 4.0 x16 slots. It targets creators and developers who need a large frame buffer for 3D rendering, video editing or machine-learning workloads. The single HDMI and single DisplayPort outputs drive one or two displays directly.

Who fits and who should look elsewhere

This suits buyers who want the 24GB capacity in the original Founders Edition design and accept a refurbished unit with minor cosmetic wear. It does not suit builders who need a low-profile bracket, systems limited to PCIe 3.0 bandwidth, or users who require more than two native display connections without adapters.

The specification that decides fit

The 24GB GDDR6 memory size is the single figure that determines whether this card matches the workload; if the application fits within a smaller buffer the extra capacity goes unused.

Questions about this item

Does the card ship with any cables or adapters for the power connector?

The unit is sold as the video card only; no accessories, cables or adapters are included in the package.

Will the Founders Edition fit in a standard mid-tower case?

The Founders Edition uses a dual-slot design, so it fits most mid-tower cases that accept full-length PCIe 4.0 x16 cards.

Can I run multiple monitors with the single HDMI and single DisplayPort?

The card supports multi-monitor setups, but you will need adapters or a DisplayPort MST hub to drive more than two displays simultaneously.
