Workstation GPU with 6 GB GDDR5 memory on a 384-bit bus, PCI Express 2.0 x16, two DisplayPort 1.1 and one DVI output
The NVIDIA Quadro 6000 is a professional graphics card built for certified workstation applications. It uses the Fermi architecture and provides 6 GB of GDDR5 memory across a 384-bit interface. The card connects via PCI Express 2.0 x16 and occupies a full-height, dual-slot form factor.
This card suits users maintaining older ISV-certified pipelines that rely on DirectX 11 or OpenGL 4.4. It drives up to two displays through two DisplayPort 1.1 outputs and one DVI port at 2560x1600 resolution. Buyers who need modern API support, higher display counts, or greater memory capacity should look elsewhere.
The board draws up to 225 W and requires both a 6-pin and an 8-pin auxiliary power connector. Verify that your power supply provides these exact connections before purchase. A rear mounting bracket is not included with the card.

The card draws 225 W TGP and ships with a dual 6-pin / 8-pin auxiliary power connector; your PSU must provide at least one of those cables.
The card is fully backward compatible; it will run at PCIe 2.0 speeds in any newer x16 slot without configuration changes.
GPU-Z or NVIDIA Control Panel will report a 384-bit bus width and 6 GB GDDR5; the driver also lists OpenGL 4.4 and DirectX 11 support as confirmation.
