Built for Demanding Games

This NVIDIA RTX 3080 Founders Edition graphics card is built for demanding games. It uses the GeForce RTX 3080 GPU with a 1710MHz boost clock speed. The card provides 10GB of GDDR6X video memory across a 320-bit interface. It supports PCI Express 4.0 and earlier PCI Express 3.0 systems.

Thermal and Power Profile

The Founders Edition design manages thermals for the 1710MHz boost clock during normal use. Power draw scales with the GPU load in demanding games. Fan noise remains controlled while the cooler handles the 10GB GDDR6X memory and core. The dual-slot form factor fits standard chassis layouts.

Connectivity and Software Control

HDMI and DisplayPort outputs enable flexible connectivity for modern displays. Antialiasing and anisotropic filtering deliver striking graphics with incredible realism in supported titles. The NVIDIA driver suite provides access to RTX features and performance tuning. No additional bundled accessories are included with this model.

Questions about this item

How do I install the RTX 3080 Founders Edition 10GB GDDR6X into a PCI Express 4.0 slot, and what step do people often miss?

Align the card with the PCI Express 4.0 slot, press firmly until the retention clip clicks, then attach the required 12-pin power adapter; the step most often missed is fully seating the power connector so all pins make contact.

What maintenance or replacement will the 10GB GDDR6X graphics card need later?

Dust the dual axial fans and heatsink fins every few months with compressed air; the thermal paste under the vapor chamber typically lasts several years before a re-paste might improve temperatures.

What limit appears first on the RTX 3080 Founders Edition 10GB GDDR6X during sustained 1710MHz boost clock loads?

The 320-bit memory interface and 10GB GDDR6X frame buffer saturate before the GPU core, so texture-heavy 4K workloads hit the VRAM ceiling first.
