Residential aluminium smart lock

This residential-grade lock is built from aluminium alloy and tested to resist tampering and violent forced entry. It suits homeowners who want keyless convenience with multiple credential types. Buyers needing commercial fire ratings or mortise installations should look elsewhere.

Check door thickness and backset

Verify that your door matches standard U.S. residential prep before ordering; the lock fits most common doors but no exact thickness range or backset dimension is supplied. Ensure you have four AA batteries ready because they are not included. No separate hub is required for local Bluetooth operation.

App management and optional gateway

The Nyboer or TTLock app stores up to 150 fingerprints, codes or fobs and sends real-time unlock alerts. Adding the separate Nyboer gateway enables 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi remote control and voice commands through Alexa or Google Assistant. Without the gateway the lock works locally via Bluetooth only.

Questions about this item

What comes in the box and do I need to buy batteries or a gateway separately?

The lock includes the handle assembly and keypad; four AA batteries are required but not included, and the Nyboer gateway for remote Wi-Fi control is sold separately.

How many fingerprints and access codes can this model store compared with the basic keypad version?

This model stores up to 150 fingerprints, codes or key fobs, while the basic keypad version listed only supports 20 codes.

What does the IP65 rating mean for daily use on an exterior door?

IP65 means the lock is dust-tight and protected against water jets, so it withstands rain and splashes on a front door without damage.
