Nycoil Nylon Tubing 1/4 in OD 50 ft

SKU CH-GQJH-5NNGR

Nylon tubing with 1/4 in outside diameter and 50 ft length handles 400 psi at 68 degrees F

  • Nylon construction resists abrasion and chemicals
  • 1/4 in outside diameter fits standard fittings
  • 50 ft length covers long runs without joints
  • 400 psi rating at 68 Degrees F handles high-pressure air lines
  • Shore D 60 hardness keeps shape under vacuum to 28 in Hg

High-Pressure Nylon Tubing for Air Lines

This 50 ft length of nylon tubing is built for compressed-air systems that demand a 400 psi rating at 68 Degrees F. The 1/4 in outside diameter and 11/64 in inside diameter suit pneumatic tools, shop airlines and general industrial air distribution. The beige Shore D 60 material handles temperatures up to 175 Degrees F and holds a 28 in Hg vacuum rating. It is not compatible with peristaltic pumps.

Simple Push-Fit Installation with Standard Fittings

Cut the tubing square with a sharp knife or dedicated cutter, then push it into compatible 1/4 in OD push-to-connect or compression fittings until it seats firmly. The semi-rigid nylon resists kinking during routing but can ovalise if bent too tightly, causing restriction or fitting leakage. Always pressure-test the completed circuit before putting the system into service.

Verify Fitting Compatibility

Confirm that your existing fittings accept 1/4 in OD tubing with an 11/64 in ID, as mismatched sizes will leak under 400 psi. Check that the media is clean, dry compressed air; the nylon is not rated for peristaltic pump use or for fluids outside the supplier specifications. The product carries a California Proposition 65 warning for cancer and reproductive-harm chemicals.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the tubing is rated for 400 psi at 68 degrees F after installation?

Pressure-test the line at the rated 400 psi while the fluid temperature is near 68 degrees F and check for leaks or permanent deformation.

What comes in the box and are fittings included?

The box contains a 50 ft coil of 1/4 in OD nylon tubing; fittings, clamps or cutting tools are not included and must be purchased separately.

Which inside diameter matches the 1/4 in OD tubing for my air system?

The tubing has an 11/64 in inside diameter, so choose push-to-connect or barbed fittings sized for that ID.
