NZXT Kraken X62 280mm AIO Cooler

The NZXT Kraken X62 is a 280mm all-in-one liquid cooler designed for high-performance desktop CPUs. It uses a reinforced tubing loop, a dual 140mm Aer P radiator fan setup and a redesigned pump to manage heavy thermal loads. The unit targets enthusiasts and builders who want precise software control over cooling and lighting.

CAM Software Control Limits

The cooler relies on NZXT CAM software for pump speed, fan curves and RGB configuration. Settings are adjusted through a desktop or mobile app that must remain installed and running for active profiles. Without the software, the hardware reverts to default behaviour and advanced lighting modes cannot be customised.

Socket And Clearance Checks

Verify that your motherboard uses a supported Intel socket such as LGA 1150, 1151, 1155, 1156, 1366, 2011, 2011-v3 or 2066, or an AMD socket including AM2, AM2+, AM3, AM3+, AM4, FM1, FM2, FM2+ or sTR4. Confirm your case can accommodate a 315mm long, 143mm wide, 30mm thick radiator with two 140mm fan mounts.

Questions about this item

Is the 280 mm radiator the only size available for the Kraken X62?

The Kraken X62 RL-KRX62-02 is offered with a 280 mm radiator measuring 315.00 x 143.00 x 30.00 mm and two 140 mm Aer P fans.

What does the 500–1,800 RPM fan range mean for actual cooling and noise?

The two included 140 mm fans spin between 500 and 1,800 RPM, producing 21–38 dB(A); CAM software lets you tune curves so the pump and fans balance temperature against acoustics in your build.

Which CPU sockets does the cooler support out of the box?

The mounting kit covers Intel LGA 2066, 2011-v3, 2011, 1366, 1156, 1155, 1151, 1150 and AMD sTR4 Threadripper, AM4, AM3+, AM3, AM2+, AM2, FM2+, FM2, FM1.
