What this fan does

The NZXT RF-D14SF-W1 is a 140mm case fan with RGB LEDs on both sides of the frame. It fits standard 140mm mounting points and adds illumination visible from either direction inside the chassis.

Who it suits and who it does not

Builders wanting a single white fan that lights both the interior and the rear of a radiator or heatsink will find it useful. Buyers who need PWM speed curves tuned for silent operation at very low RPM should check the spec sheet before purchasing.

What the dual-sided LEDs change

Lighting appears on the front and back faces so radiators, mesh panels or glass side windows all receive direct glow. The white blades and frame keep the colour consistent when the LEDs are off or set to a static hue.

Questions about this item

What motherboard header is needed to power the 140mm fan and control its RGB LEDs?

Connect the fan to a 4-pin PWM header for speed control and use a 5V 3-pin addressable RGB header for the dual-sided lighting.

Will the white frame and dual-sided LEDs match an older black-and-red build?

The white housing and customisable RGB on both sides let you dial in red tones that blend with legacy components.

How can I confirm the fan spins and lights up correctly after installation?

In BIOS or NZXT CAM software verify RPM reads above zero and cycle through a solid colour to see both sides illuminate evenly.
