The OATEY 42137 is a round stainless-steel shower strainer with a polished brass finish. It snaps into compatible Oatey shower drains and uses a square-hole grate surface. The strainer is designed for residential bathroom installations where a snap-in replacement is required.

4-1/4 inch diameter with 20-gauge steel

The overall diameter measures 4-1/4 inches and the body stands 1/4 inch high. Twenty-gauge stainless steel provides corrosion resistance for daily shower use. The strainer handles normal water flow and debris capture; it is not load-rated and should not be stepped on or used as a standing surface.

ASME A112.18.2 and CSA B125.2 compliance
