2.5 In Brass Cleanout Plug

The Oatey 42371 is a brass cleanout plug designed for 2.5 inch nominal drain access points. It provides a secure threaded closure for plumbing cleanout fittings in residential and commercial drainage systems. The brass construction resists corrosion in wet environments.

Brass thread limits in drainage access

Brass threads can gall or seize if over-tightened during installation, especially after prolonged exposure to moisture and debris. The plug is intended for periodic access only and not for permanent pressure sealing. Buyers needing a plug for pressurised lines or larger diameter fittings should verify compatibility before purchase.
