Stainless steel folding masher

The Obsoorth KJ-1033 is a 12.1 inch potato masher built with a stainless steel head and an ABS handle. Its folding mechanism reduces the tool's length for compact storage in a drawer or via the integrated hanging hook. The small-hole mashing plate is designed to produce smooth, lump-free results. The construction is dishwasher safe for easy cleaning.

Home cooks wanting compact storage

This utensil suits anyone who prepares mashed potatoes, avocado, baby food or root vegetables and values a tool that folds away neatly. The long handle provides leverage for comfortable mashing. Cooks who prefer a rigid, one-piece masher without moving parts should consider a traditional design instead.

Folding mechanism with hanging hook

The defining specification is the folding design combined with a top-mounted hanging hook. This allows the 12.1 inch tool to be stored in significantly less space than a fixed masher. Buyers with ample drawer space who do not need collapsible tools will not benefit from this feature.

Questions about this item

How much force does the 12.1 in stainless steel head need to mash potatoes all day?

The heavy-duty stainless steel head resists flexing or bending so each press stays firm without extra effort.

Does the ABS handle on the KJ-1033 require a special grip or glove to use?

The ergonomic ABS handle provides a comfortable non-slip grip with bare hands.

Will the folding design and hanging hook on this 12.1 in masher fit in a crowded utensil drawer?

The folding mechanism reduces its profile and the built-in hook lets it hang on a rail instead of taking drawer space.
