Storage hamper with hinged lid

The Oceanstar laundry hamper measures 13.3 by 20.3 by 24 inches and provides a single large compartment for dirty clothes, linens or toys. A hinged lid stays open on its own so you can load items with both hands. Integrated side handles let you carry the hamper to the washing machine without lifting the lid. Rubber bumpers on the lid protect surfaces from scratches.

Suited for bedrooms and playrooms.

This hamper works well in a bedroom, nursery or playroom where a single mixed load is collected. The open interior has no internal dividers, so it cannot separate lights from darks or delicates from heavy items. Buyers who need multiple compartments for pre-sorted laundry should consider a different style.

Hinged lid that stays open

The lid hinge holds the top upright without manual support, allowing one-handed loading and unloading. This mechanism is the key feature that distinguishes the RH5513WHITE from basic open baskets or lift-off lid models.

Questions about this item

Does the hinged lid need any periodic maintenance to keep it staying open reliably?

The hinged lid is designed to stay open on its own for hands-free loading; no scheduled maintenance is mentioned, though occasional hinge checks will catch any loosening over time.

What part of the hamper is most likely to reach its limit first when it is filled daily?

The raised bottom on four legs supports the load, so the base panel and leg joints will feel the stress before the lid or side handles do.

Will the rubber bumpers on the lid prevent noise or heat buildup when the hamper sits in a sunny room all day?

The rubber bumpers cushion the lid against the frame to stop scratches and reduce closing noise; they do not affect heat retention inside the hamper.
