Oetiker Stepless Clamp 25.6 mm

The Oetiker 16700031 is a stainless steel stepless clamp supplied in a bag of 100 pieces. It is designed for securing hose connections in automotive and industrial applications. The plain finish provides a clean surface for reliable installation.

Suits installers needing uniform compression

This product suits technicians who require a stepless profile for even sealing pressure around the full circumference. It is not for users who need a worm-drive clamp with a screw mechanism for adjustable tightening. Buyers looking for reusable fastening methods should consider alternative clamp styles.

Nominal size 25.6 mm

The critical specification is the 25.6 mm nominal size which determines hose compatibility. Verify the outer diameter of your hose assembly matches this dimension before purchasing. The 100-piece quantity supports volume requirements for workshop or production line use.

Questions about this item

What hose outer diameter does the 25.6 mm stepless clamp fit?

The clamp is sized for a nominal 1 inch hose, which corresponds to the 25.6 mm dimension.

Which tool correctly closes the 16700031 stepless ear clamp?

Use Oetiker pincers to squeeze the ear until the gap closes evenly; overtightening with pliers distorts the ring.

When should the stainless steel clamp be replaced?

Replace if the band shows corrosion pitting, deformation from impact, or if the ear cannot hold tension after repeated thermal cycles.
