WW1 Multiplayer FPS

Beyond The Wire is a multiplayer first-person shooter set on the Western Front of the Great War. It supports battles with up to 100 players across large open maps and tight trench networks. The game features period-appropriate firearms alongside a unique melee combat system for close-quarters engagements. It is delivered as a Steam download code for PC.

Steam Activation Requirements

The product requires a Steam account for activation and installation on a Windows 10 64-bit operating system. A 64-bit processor such as an Intel Core i or AMD Ryzen with four physical cores is needed to run the title. The downloadable format means no physical media is shipped, freeing up shelf space and enabling instant library access. Regional restrictions apply to the activation code.

Early Access Development

Beyond The Wire launched into Early Access in October 2020 with a wider release planned for 2022. Buyers gain immediate access to the evolving build and can participate in ongoing development updates. The gameplay focuses on sustained 50v50 battles that emphasise tactical coordination over short bursts of action. This model suits players comfortable with unfinished content and frequent patches.

Questions about this item

Will my Intel Core i or AMD Ryzen 4-core CPU hit 100 % load in a 50v50 match?

The minimum spec calls for a 64-bit processor with 4 physical cores; large 50v50 battles will push CPU utilisation high, so a modern quad-core or better is recommended.

Does the Steam client add noticeable heat or fan noise during all-day sessions?

Beyond The Wire runs through Steam on Windows 10 64-bit; sustained multiplayer loads will raise CPU and GPU temperatures, so adequate case airflow is advised.

Do I need an existing Steam account before I can activate the 61578 code?

Yes, a Steam account is required for activation and installation of the downloadable game code.
