What the S11 delivers

The OHAYO S11 is a portable Bluetooth speaker built for outdoor use. Its IPX6 waterproof, dustproof and shockproof shell handles rain, splashes and rough handling. A 16 W racetrack-shaped driver provides bass boost and Hi-Res Audio support. The speaker weighs 440 grams and measures 2.6 in x 7.36 in x 2.16 in.

Battery life and wireless range

A single charge yields up to 24 hours of playtime, enough for a full day at the beach or campsite. Bluetooth connection remains stable up to 66 feet from the source device. The 1.0 channel configuration and 80 dB signal-to-noise ratio keep output clean at moderate volumes, while the 18 kHz response bandwidth caps treble extension.

TWS pairing and ambient lighting

Two S11 units can be linked in TWS mode for 48 W peak stereo sound without cables. The rear ambient light offers selectable themes and colours via a dedicated button. A built-in microphone enables hands-free calls, and a USB-C port plus AUX input provide wired options for phones, laptops, tablets, TVs, projectors, consoles and other compatible devices.

Questions about this item

Will the USB-C port on this 16 W speaker charge my older phone that only has Micro-USB?

The USB-C port on the S11 is for charging the speaker itself, not for powering other devices. You would need a separate USB-C to Micro-USB cable and a power source to charge your phone.

How can I confirm the IPX6 waterproof rating is working after I take it to the beach?

After exposure to sand or salt water, rinse the speaker with fresh water and dry it thoroughly. If the 16 W audio plays clearly and the power indicator lights normally, the seals are intact.

Does the box include a wall charger for the USB-C port or just the cable?

The package includes a USB-C charging cable. A USB wall charger is not included, so you will need to use an existing 5 V adapter or a powered USB port to recharge the 24 h battery.
