What this drum unit does

The Oki Data 44574301 is a genuine black image drum for laser printers and multifunction devices. It is built to produce sharp text and bold graphics across a rated yield of 30000 pages. The all-in-one design means the drum and developer components are replaced together in a single step.

Who it suits and who it does not

This drum fits the Oki B411d, B411dn, B412dn, B431d, B431dn, B432dn, B512dn, Corefido B411dnB, B431dn, B432dnw, MB461, MB471, MB471w, MB472dnw, MB491 and MB492 model families. Buyers with printers outside this compatibility list cannot use this unit. Offices that need colour output should look at a colour drum kit instead.

Installation and common issues

Replacement is a snap: open the front cover, pull the old drum assembly out and slide the new one in until it clicks. The most frequent problem is forgetting to remove the protective seal before fitting the drum, which causes blank or streaked pages. Handle the green roller carefully to avoid fingerprints that degrade print quality.
