Regular Mouth Silicone Lids

These three violet caps are made from 100 percent food grade silicone and contain no BPA. They fit every regular mouth mason jar from 4oz up to 64oz including Ball and Kerr brands. The set is designed for home preservers who want a reusable alternative to single use metal lids. Each piece is dishwasher safe for quick cleaning between batches.

Fermentation Venting Action

A built in silicone membrane acts as a one way valve during fermentation. Gas produced inside the jar pushes the membrane open and escapes while outside air cannot enter the bottle. This low pressure release works continuously throughout the ferment without daily burping. The lids maintain a leak proof seal for dry goods such as sugar, spices and treats.

Regular Mouth Only Constraint

These caps will not fit wide mouth jars and have no pour spout feature. Buyers who need wide mouth compatibility or a built in pouring lip should look elsewhere. The three pack covers a basic starter set for small batch canning and storage. The violet colour helps identify contents at a glance.

Questions about this item

Do these violet silicone lids stay leak-proof and heat-stable if I run them through the dishwasher every day?

Yes, they are made from 100% food-grade silicone, BPA-free, and rated dishwasher safe for repeated cleaning without warping or losing their seal.

What jars do I need to own for the MSPG-3 lids to fit?

They fit any regular-mouth mason jar from 4 oz to 64 oz, including Ball, Kerr and compatible brands; they will not seal wide-mouth jars.

Will the built-in fermentation vent work on older regular-mouth jars I already have?

The half-open hole lets gas escape during fermentation while keeping outside air out, and it functions on any regular-mouth jar that matches the 4 oz–64 oz size range.
