Everyday cutting tool

The OLFA SK-6 is a self-retracting safety knife built for general cutting tasks in offices, warehouses or homes. Its rounded carbon-steel blade reduces puncture risk while the contoured yellow handle provides a secure grip during repetitive use.

Manual retraction limit

The blade retracts automatically only when the slider is released, so the user must maintain deliberate pressure throughout each cut. This mechanical action prevents accidental exposure but does not replace careful handling or task-specific PPE.

Fiberglass-reinforced ABS handle

The moulded grip resists solvents and impact better than plain plastic, while the integrated tether point allows attachment to belts or lanyards for quick retrieval. Rounded blade geometry and a 5 1/2 in overall length suit shallow slicing rather than deep penetration.
