The fully ground spiral groove clears particles quickly while reducing friction and heat. A 135° split point with straight shank prevents walking and eliminates the need for a centre punch. Upgrade from Standard HSS Bits

The M35 cobalt alloy is much harder than the HSS used in similar drill bit sets, making the jump worthwhile when drilling stainless steel, cast iron, or hardened steel sheet metal.
