Olympus BR-404 AAA Ni-MH 4-Pack

These rechargeable AAA cells deliver 1.2 V and 750 mAh each, designed for Olympus digital voice recorders. The four-pack suits professionals and students who rely on daily dictation and need ready spares. Nickel-metal hydride chemistry allows hundreds of recharge cycles without memory effect. They also fit any device that accepts standard AAA batteries.

Capacity and runtime

Each cell stores 750 mAh, giving extended recording sessions before a recharge is needed. High-drain devices will deplete the charge faster, so carry a second set for all-day events. The voltage stays steady through most of the discharge curve, keeping recorder gain stable. Recharge overnight to restore full capacity for the next day.

Build and daily use

The BR-404 model number matches Olympus charger contacts for reliable seating and polarity. Standard AAA dimensions mean they slide into recorders, remotes or wireless mice without force. Ni-MH construction resists leakage better than older chemistries. Store the pack in the supplied case to keep contacts clean between uses.

Questions about this item

Will these 1.2V 750mAh AAA Ni-MH cells work in my older Olympus digital voice recorder that takes AAA batteries?

Yes, the BR-404 is made for Olympus digital voice recorders and matches the standard AAA form factor and 1.2V voltage your recorder expects.

How can I confirm the 4-pack is delivering the rated 750mAh capacity after I charge them?

Charge the cells fully, then use them in your device; if run time matches what you got from fresh alkaline AAAs, the capacity is performing as specified.

Does the BR-404 4-pack include a charger, or do I need to buy one separately?

The pack contains only the four AAA Ni-MH batteries; a compatible Ni-MH charger must be purchased separately.
