Camera Kit Overview

The OM System OM-3 kit combines a 20MP Micro Four Thirds mirrorless camera with a 12-45mm f/4 PRO lens, a 64GB memory card and a camera bag. It targets photographers and content creators who want a complete, portable system for stills and 4K video capture.

Bundle Impact

The included 64GB card provides immediate storage for high-resolution images and 4K footage without a separate purchase. The supplied bag protects the camera and lens during transport, while the 12-45mm f/4 PRO lens covers wide-angle to short-telephoto framing for versatile shooting scenarios.

Suitability Notes

This kit suits enthusiasts and creators seeking a lightweight, feature-rich system with advanced computational photography tools and up to 7.5 stops of stabilisation with Sync IS. Buyers who need full-frame sensor dimensions, longer native telephoto reach, or higher continuous burst rates should consider alternative systems.

Questions about this item

Will the 64GB card need replacing if I shoot 4K video regularly?

The 64GB capacity fills quickly with 4K footage; a larger or second card is practical for extended sessions.

Does the 1053-point AF system lose accuracy during long continuous bursts?

The Cross Quad Pixel AF maintains coverage across the frame, though sustained tracking can be limited by buffer depth and card write speed.

How hot does the OM-3 get when recording 4K for an hour?

The compact body and stacked BSI sensor run warm during prolonged 4K capture; the 5-axis IS and TruePic X processor add heat, so monitor temperature on long takes.
