On Stage RDF4000 4U Adaptable Rack Drawer Foam accessory

Adaptable 4U Rack Drawer Foam

The On Stage RDF4000 is a custom foam insert built for 4U rack drawers. It uses .75 inch perforated blocks that separate by hand to create a fitted cavity for each item. The design suits audio engineers, technicians and mobile crews who need gear to stay put during transport. It protects microphones, small electronics and similar devices from scratches and impact.

Tool-Free Custom Fit

Installation requires no tools because the diced foam pulls apart with fingers alone. Press out only the blocks that match the equipment outline, then set the device into the recess. The firm yet flexible material grips the chassis without adhesive. A common error is removing too many blocks at once, which leaves gaps that let heavier items shift.

Verify Drawer Compatibility

Confirm the drawer interior is a standard 4U rack depth and width before ordering. The foam sheet must sit flat on the drawer floor without binding against latches or cable trays. Measure the usable cavity height to ensure the .75 inch foam plus your tallest device will clear the drawer lid when closed.
