Warm white LED strip length and density

The Onforu DT10 is a 32.8 ft flexible LED strip containing 600 individual 2835 LEDs that emit a 3000 K warm white glow. It runs on a 12 V power adapter and draws a maximum of 1 A, making it suitable for indoor accent lighting in kitchens, bedrooms, stairways or under cabinets. The strip is not waterproof and is intended for dry locations only.

Power supply and installation checks

Verify that the included UL listed 12 V adapter can reach the intended run without exceeding its 1 A limit; the supplier advises against connecting more than 32.8 ft on a single adapter. Ensure the mounting surface is clean and dry for the pre-applied foam tape, and keep the supplied clips and screws handy for extra security on vertical or overhead runs. Unroll the strip fully before testing for longer than two minutes to allow heat to dissipate.

Sustained load behaviour and cutting rules

During extended use the low voltage design keeps the strip cool enough to touch, and the foam tape adhesive strengthens over time. Brightness is adjustable from 0 to 3000 K via the included dimmer, so output can be reduced to lower thermal load further. If the strip is shortened, reconnect segments only at the marked copper cutting points to maintain correct electrical continuity.

Questions about this item

What comes in the box and do I need to buy a power supply separately?

The package includes the 32.8 ft LED strip with 600 LEDs, a UL-listed 12 V power adapter, a dimmer, mounting clips and foam tape, so no separate power supply is required.

Which length and colour temperature should I choose for under-cabinet lighting?

This DT10 model is the 32.8 ft warm-white version at 3000 K with 600 LEDs; longer 39.37 ft, 49.2 ft and 65.6 ft options exist in both 3000 K and 6500 K if you need more coverage or a cooler tone.

What does the 2400 lumen rating mean once the strip is installed?

At full brightness the 10 W strip delivers 2400 lumens across its 32.8 ft length, giving strong, even warm-white illumination for cabinets, shelves or stairways while running on a safe 12 V supply.
