Curved Monitor Light Bar 16.5 in

This curved monitor light bar attaches to the top of a display to illuminate the desk without reflecting on the screen. It is designed for home-office workers and students who spend long hours reading or typing. The asymmetric optical layout keeps glare off the panel while lighting the keyboard and paperwork. A built-in camera mount lets a webcam sit above the bar to save desk space.

Auto-dimming with wireless remote

An ambient light sensor adjusts brightness automatically when activated by a double-click on the remote or the lamp body switch. The wireless remote also provides manual control over brightness and colour temperature for different tasks. The clamp base fits monitors from .12 in to 2.36 in thick, including curved and irregular profiles. IEC 62778 certification confirms reduced blue-light emission for eye comfort.

Upgrade from basic desk lamps

This bar replaces a separate desk lamp and webcam stand, freeing surface area and removing screen reflections that flat lamps create. The jump is worth it when glare causes eye strain or when a webcam needs a stable, centred position above the monitor. Users who need adjustable arm reach or battery operation should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Will the 16.5 in light bar fit on top of my older monitor that is about .12 in thick?

Yes, the three-piece base adjusts from .12 in up to 2.36 in so it clamps securely on thin legacy screens as well as thicker modern ones.

How do I know the auto-dimming sensor is active after I mount the bar?

Press the sensor button on the lamp body or double-click the wireless remote; the bar will immediately match the ambient brightness, confirming the sensor is working.

Does the package include a webcam or do I need to supply my own for the camera base?

The camera base is a mounting platform only — you attach your existing webcam; no camera is included in the box.
