Compact Picnic Cutlery Set

The Opinel Picnic+ Cutlery Set combines a No. 08 folding knife with removable fork and spoon inserts plus a microfiber case that doubles as a napkin. Made in France, the set includes a 3.35-inch stainless steel blade and a classic beech wood handle secured by a Virobloc safety ring for safe carry and use.

Outdoor Diners and Minimalist Pack Light Travellers

This four-piece set suits hikers, campers and picnic-goers who want reusable metal cutlery without the bulk of separate utensils. Buyers who need a fixed-blade knife, a full flatware service or utensils that are fully dishwasher safe should look elsewhere.

Three-Piece Eating Kit with Integrated Storage

The knife, fork and spoon inserts cover cutting, spearing and scooping for one person at a meal. The microfiber wrap keeps the pieces together and wipes clean, but the knife blade requires hand washing and immediate drying to maintain its edge and finish.

Questions about this item

Does the fork and spoon work with an older Opinel No. 08 knife I already own?

The inserts attach only to wooden-handled No. 08 knives that have the Virobloc safety ring, so check your existing knife for that ring before pairing.

What items do I need to supply myself to use this set at a picnic?

The set includes the knife, fork insert, spoon insert and microfiber case, so no additional pieces are required for basic outdoor dining.

How can I confirm the Virobloc ring is locking the blade correctly after I assemble the fork or spoon?

Rotate the ring until it clicks; the blade should stay fixed open and not fold under light pressure when the ring is engaged.
