100GBASE-SR4 QSFP28 module carries 100G over 100m OM4 at 850nm using four 25G lanes with DOM and MPO-12 connector
This Optdex QSFP-100G-SR4 module delivers 100G connectivity for data-centre switches and routers. It suits network engineers building high-density 100G links over multimode fibre. The transceiver fits QSFP28 ports and supports 4x 25G lanes for aggregated throughput. It is not for users needing single-lane 100G or longer reach than 100 metres.
The module operates at 850nm across 12-fibre MPO-12 ribbon cable using OM4 multimode fibre. Digital optical monitoring reports real-time signal health during sustained 100G traffic. Four parallel 25G lanes maintain consistent throughput under continuous load without lane skew issues. It is not for single-mode fibre runs or distances beyond the 100m OM4 specification.
