Optical Network Video Technologies
Managed 16-port 10/100 PoE switch with two gigabit SFP uplinks and 250 W total power budget
The Optical Network Video Technologies S-ONV-POE31016PFM provides sixteen 10/100 Mbps Power over Ethernet ports and two gigabit combo ports for copper or fibre uplinks. Each PoE port complies with IEEE 802.3af and 802.3at, delivering up to 30 W per port. The unit suits IP camera deployments and wireless access point installations that require centralised power and data.
A total PoE budget of 250 W is shared across all sixteen ports, so simultaneous full-power draw on every port is not possible. The switch operates from an AC 100-240 V supply rated at 3.15 A and maintains function between -20 °C and 55 °C. Managed features include QoS and VLAN support to prioritise traffic during continuous high utilisation.
The aggregate 250 W limit is the single figure that determines whether the switch can power a specific set of devices. Add the maximum draw of every connected camera or access point; if the sum exceeds 250 W, this model will not support the full configuration. No other specification overrides this constraint.

The switch operates from -20 °C to 55 °C with passive cooling and no fan noise, so heat stays within that range even at full 250 W load.
Cat5e or better copper patch cables wired for end-span (pairs 1/2, 3/6) or mid-span (pairs 4/5, 7/8) PoE will deliver up to 30 W per port.
The combo ports are gigabit electrical or SFP; they negotiate speed, so 100 Mbps modules will connect but run at their rated 100 Mbps.
