Master Mind DMX 64-Channel Lighting Controller

The Optima Master Mind provides DMX-512 control for DJ and stage lighting setups. It manages up to 16 four-channel fixtures from a single panel. The interface groups projector selection, pre-programmed motions and show keys on one side, with rate, speed, gobo, colour controls and a joystick on the other. A five-step programming sequence lets users clear memory, choose fixtures, create motions and save scenes quickly.

Sustained Show Operation With Manual Override

Six show memories each store up to 55 scenes for extended performances without reloading. Operators can select smooth, abrupt, small or large movement types to match the pace of a set. Speed and timing adjustments apply globally across movements during playback. Instant manual override of any projector is available at any moment, allowing live corrections without interrupting the running show sequence.

Rugged Aluminium Case And Joystick Control

The controller housing is built from aluminium to withstand transport and regular venue use. A convenient joystick governs DMX channels three and four for direct pan and tilt manipulation. Sound-activated triggering is included for hands-free operation when required. All connectors and controls are integrated into the front panel layout, keeping cabling tidy and the workspace organised during gigs.

Questions about this item

Does the Optima Master Mind controller generate noticeable fan noise or heat when running a full DMX-512 show all day?

The rugged aluminium case acts as a passive heatsink, so the unit runs silently without a fan even during continuous 512-channel operation.

What existing DMX fixtures or cables must I already own to use the 64-channel Optima Master Mind right out of the box?

You need DMX-compatible projectors or dimmer packs — up to 16 four-channel units — plus standard 3-pin or 5-pin DMX cable to link them to the controller.

Will the Optima Master Mind still drive my older 3-pin DMX parcans and fog machines alongside newer 5-pin gear?

Yes, the controller outputs standard DMX-512 signals compatible with both 3-pin and 5-pin devices, so legacy parcans and modern fixtures run together on the same chain.
