Small-room humidifier with 1.11 gallon tank

The Optimus U31002 is a cool-mist ultrasonic humidifier built for small bedrooms or offices. Its 1.11 gallon tank supplies up to 1.5 gallons of moisture over 18 hours. Visible mist output helps relieve dry skin, chapped lips and cough symptoms. Adjustable mist volume control lets you set the humidity level you need.

Whisper-quiet ultrasonic operation

Ultrasonic technology runs at a very low sound level so it does not disturb sleep or work. The unit draws minimal power while producing a steady stream of cool mist. An automatic shut-off switch activates the moment the tank runs dry, preventing overheating and saving energy. A refill indicator light signals when water needs topping up.

Compact white design with top-fill access

The white plastic housing fits unobtrusively on a nightstand or desk. Top-fill access means you can pour water directly into the tank without removing it from the base. No filters or wicks are required, reducing ongoing maintenance. Not suited for large open-plan areas or whole-house humidification.

Questions about this item

How do I set up the U31002 humidifier and what step is often missed?

Place the unit on a flat surface, fill the 1.11 gallon tank with water, seat it firmly on the base so the float engages, then turn the mist dial to your desired level.

What regular maintenance does the U31002 require?

Empty the tank daily, rinse it and the mist nozzle, then wipe the ultrasonic transducer with a soft cloth to prevent mineral build-up that reduces output.

What limits continuous running time on the U31002?

The 1.11 gallon tank empties after about 18 hours at maximum output of 1.5 gallons, triggering the automatic shut-off until you refill it.
