Eight-pack door hooks for tight spaces

This set of eight white over-door hooks fits doors from 0.7 to 1.4 inches thick without tools. The brushed metal and rubber construction resists rust and protects surfaces from scratches. Each hook extends 5.2 inches from the door to hold coats, towels or hats. They suit dorm rooms, bathrooms and front doors where permanent fixtures are not allowed.

Sustained load performance

The alloy frame is rated to hold up to 20 lbs per hook under continuous use. Rubberised contact points keep the hooks silent and prevent them from sliding when heavy items are hung for long periods. No screws or adhesives are required, so the grip relies solely on the door-top friction fit. The finish resists corrosion in humid environments such as bathrooms.

Deciding specification

The critical figure is the 0.7 to 1.4 inch door-thickness range; doors outside this range will not accept the hooks. Each hook carries a 20 lb limit and projects 5.2 inches from the door face. Buyers needing to hang heavier items or mount on thicker doors should look for a different solution.

Questions about this item

How much noise or vibration do the 5.2in hooks make when the door is opened and closed all day?

The soft rubber surface on each hook dampens contact, so the door hanger stays quiet and prevents scratching even with repeated daily use.

What door thickness must I already have for the 8-pack hooks to fit securely?

The hooks fit doors between .7 and 1.4 inches thick; measure your door before purchasing to confirm it falls in that range.

Will the 20 lb alloy hooks hold heavy winter coats alongside the lighter towels I already hang on the same door?

Each hook supports up to 20 lbs, so heavy coats and lighter items can hang together without exceeding the rated capacity.
