Genuine OEM DMD DLP chip for Optoma TX765W

This genuine OEM DMD DLP chip is a direct replacement component for the Optoma TX765W projector. It is designed for technicians or owners performing a repair to restore the projector's imaging capability. The part arrives new and ready for installation into the compatible unit.

Tested for clear projection with no dead pixels

Each chip undergoes extensive testing, performed at least three times, to verify it projects a clear image completely free of dead pixels. This validation process aims to ensure reliable visual performance once the component is fitted inside the projector. The accessory functions as a passive optical element requiring no separate power draw.

Supplied as the standalone chip component only

The package contains the DMD DLP chip itself without additional tools, mounting hardware or software utilities. Buyers who need a complete optical block assembly or installation tooling must source those items separately. Photos provided are for illustrative purposes only and the actual unit may show cosmetic marks in non-critical areas.

Questions about this item

How do I install the DMD chip in the Optoma TX765W without misaligning the ribbon cable?

Power down and unplug the projector, remove the lamp cover and main board shield, release the ZIF connector lock gently, seat the chip squarely, then relock the connector before reassembling.

What maintenance will the DMD chip need after installation in the TX765W?

No scheduled maintenance is required for the chip itself; keep the projector air filters clean so the optical block stays dust-free and the chip continues to project a clear image.

What limit appears first during extended use of the TX765W DMD chip?

The 30-day warranty period is the only stated limit; the chip has been tested at least three times to project a clear image with no dead pixels.
