Cavity Defense Floss

Oral-B Essential Floss cleans where a toothbrush cannot reach, targeting plaque and particles between teeth and just below the gumline. The waxed nylon filament is shred resistant for reliable handling during daily use. Each dispenser holds 50 metres of mint flavoured floss and the pack contains two dispensers.

Sustained Daily Performance

The shred resistant construction prevents the strand from fraying or snapping when drawn through tight contacts repeatedly over time. A consistent wax coating maintains smooth glide without degrading after multiple uses. Manual operation gives the user full control over pressure and angle throughout the cleaning routine.

Upgrade From Basic Thread

This replaces unwaxed or lightly waxed floss that tends to shred or catch on rough enamel edges. The jump is worth it for anyone who has experienced breakage between crowded teeth or who wants a mint finish without PTFE or PFAS ingredients. Buyers needing a water flosser or interdental brushes for wider gaps will not find those functions here.
